Acoustic tiles are a smart option

Acoustic tiles from Soundblock Solutions are a versatile solution to help block out noise and can be used in a broad variety of applications.

The tiles come in various sizes and feature an attractive bevelled profile that can be adhered to walls (over 1.8m in high traffic areas) and ceilings.

The noise absorbent panels are suitable for installation in a range of high reverberation applications including domestic, commercial, industrial, corporate, pro audio, and broadcasting and other high reverberation applications.

The acoustic ceiling tiles are manufactured from Melamine foam and are supplied in white or pale grey in sheet sizes:

• 1250mm x 625mm x 50mm
• 1250mm x 625mm x 38mm
• 625 x 625 x 50mm
• 625 x 625 x 38mm

In typical indoor conditions, these acoustic tiles are predicted to have a life expectancy of 12 to 14 years and in high humidity conditions 7 to 11 years.

The melamine foam has been tested for UV resistance and has a resistance to micro-organism to DIN 53 739 as the material does not contain sustenance for bacteria and fungus.
These acoustic tiles can be installed to most common substrates with standard construction adhesives such as liquid nails (water based recommended) or all-purpose silicone.

The material is easy to cut and no special tools or equipment are required for installation.
